Eek! That was scary. Sorry for the website being down for a while. I hit a rather interesting IT brick wall and I’ve been really struggling after my Mum died in 2021 from cancer. Combined with my PTSD, Crohn’s, Fibromyalgia and trying to find a new home it’s been totally overwhelming. In December last year I found out I had a lump in my thyroid and thanks to UCLH, it was removed pretty damn quick by a partial thyroidectomy and its all healed nicely. I'm just struggling to recover. It's taken an awful lot out of me and I've been told it might not be until July that I start to see a change for the better.

The first thing you'll notice is a new url. If you've searched for daylightdnb.co.uk and ended up at daylightdnb.org.uk, you're in the right place! The reason I changed the url is because it was pointed out to me that the correct url suffix for community projects etc is .org.uk and hopefully it will help me in the future with fundraising etc.

In the meantime, please sign up to the mailing list. I do have some plans, but I’m a bit unsure how to move forward. Unfortunately putting on Daylight cost approximately £2000 and I’m struggling to work out the funding for it. Obviously, the more names I have that have signed up to the mailing list, the easier it might be to get funding.

I do hope you’ll enjoy the mixtapes from Gary, James, M_A and myself, plus Sofi’s own original tracks.

For those of you who don't know. Daylight was held on November 19th 2019, just before that pesky Covid thing happened. It was an epic event for People with disabilities and their Carers who love Jungle and Drum and Bass. It was held at Omeara, Flat Iron Square and we received a lot of love from Carers UK, Scope, RNIB, Headway East, Hart Club, Leonard Cheshire Homes, Coin Street, Disability Advice Lambeth, Mixmag, Aemon Holmes, Time Out and The Londonist. I'm still pinching myself about getting a whole 2 pages in Mixmag :) https://mixmag.net/feature/london-party-daylight-disabilities-carers-omeara
